Norwegian insurer Landkreditt has expanded its partnership with Mavera, a Verisk business, to bring AI functionality into its personal injury claims management process. This makes Landkreditt one of the first Norwegian customer to integrate the new AI features in Mavera Decision Support System (DSS).
A growing need for efficiency
Landkreditt Forsikring, founded in 2001, originally focused on personal injury insurance and now offers a range of products within private and commercial segments, and tailored to the agricultural sector. However, their personal injury claims team is seeing rapid growth, creating a pressing need for streamlined processes and digital tools.
Marianne Bech, Head of personal injury claims at Landkreditt, explains:
"I joined Landkreditt in 2023, and our business is expanding at a fast pace across all areas. Our growing team is handling significantly more cases than just a few years ago, so improving our workflow and adopting new digital tools has become essential."
Partnering for innovation
As a long-time Mavera customer, Landkreditt saw the opportunity to leverage Mavera’s expertise to adopt AI efficiently. Marianne continues:
"We’ve been a satisfied Mavera customer for many years, so this was the obvious choice for us. Over the coming months, we’re aiming for improvements in efficiency and accuracy, but also better use of our claims handlers’ time. With the help of AI, they can spend less time on repetitive tasks and focus more on communicating with customers and managing areas where the human touch adds real value."
The rise of AI in claims management
Landkreditt is part of a growing trend among Nordic insurers recognizing AI as an essential tool for staying competitive.
Johan Larsson, Chief Product Officer at Mavera, comments:
"We’re thrilled to welcome Landkreditt to the group of early AI adopters on the Norwegian market. Interest in AI is surging across all Nordic markets, and it’s exciting to see Landkreditt leading the charge. AI is no longer a “nice to have”—it’s becoming a necessity."
Looking ahead
With Mavera DSS’s AI functionality, Landkreditt is set to enhance both efficiency and accuracy in their claims process.
Johan concludes:
"When you put our tools to use, the results speak for themselves. Landkreditt is taking a bold step forward, and we’re excited to support them on this journey. We have an exciting road ahead."
By embracing AI now, Landkreditt is setting a powerful example of how innovation can drive success in personal injury claims management.
